CREATING RECRUITING TOOLKITS FOR STUDENTS AND BUSINESSES FOR A CAREER READINESS PROGRAM

CHALLENGE
CareerConnect, one of the best K12 career readiness programs in the country, wanted to determine their best strategy for recruiting more students and organizational partners to the program.

OUTCOME
Stakeholder research.
Advocacy.
In-school toolkit strategy.
Organizational toolkit strategy.
Simplified messaging.
Real student stories.
Sustained engagement.

IMPACT
We expect that all stakeholder audiences are now going to understand the impact of CareerConnect with more clarity and conviction.

We will build a toolkit for prospective business and organizational partners to help them understand the value exchange of their partnership, including how their investment of time, apprenticeship, and funds generate immediate and downstream ROI such as the development of a candidate pool of future employees and cost effective billable employees today.

In tandem, we will also develop a toolkit to help Denver Public School students and school leaders to understand the value of the program by highlighting student stories that demonstrate career pathways, along with a portfolio site where students can demonstrate the quality of their work to prospective employers. We may also develop a “choose your own adventure” digital tool for students that provides guidance on career pathway opportunities.

When you connect the right student to the right employer, everyone wins.
